Hello everyone,

Just wanted to create an environment where we can collaborate and support each other as we go out and effect positive change with the PBL approach.

Be of good courage! :)

Cool. Sounds like a good idea. This has the potential for some good collaboration.

I do hope so.

Effecting change is stressful and we should support each other and share successes.

Hi Irwin,

Anyone who is interested in PBL should take a look at the Buck Institute for Education website. They are a treasure trove of information about PBL

For examples of PBL projects teachers have completed with students, you can take a look at their archive of projects here.

This video in the link below looked really good and I think this is very interesting. The video in the link talks about the fact that PBL is not the same thing as the traditional projects students did in class. It talks about the differences between traditional projects and PBL and why PBL is a better approach.

PBL is NOT the same as "doing projects"!

Good Day,

Thank you for the tip. I am now a proud member of B.I.E.

I had an a - ha! moment Mrs. Gittens,

This will be a nice video for my colleagues when I engage them in my inevitable PDD sessions :)

Glad I could help Irvin.....
