I would just like to inquire whether the certificates from these courses are recognized by the Ministry of Education.

I would also like to ask the same question for the Udemy site as well. I completed the course that you suggested and I am in the process of completing another.

I am interested in two of the courses and considering paying for the certificate.

Please advise.

Hi Irvin,

Let me ask someone in the Ministry of Education and and see what they say. I will post what I find out shortly.

Best,

Kathy

Great opportunities here. Thank you for sharing.

No problem! Keep checking back, I will keep posting more resources and opportunities.

Hi Irvin,
I checked. It seems the Ministry of Education will not recognize the Coursera courses. What does this mean? Well it seems to mean that while you can take these courses for your own professional development, the Ministry will not take them into account in evaluating you professionally.

You may want to rethink paying for the course certificates in light of this information.

Best wishes,

Kathy

Thank you for your effort and please continue sharing.

Always nice to have a certificate though. I got one for the Critical Thinking Course.

I will sleep on it. :)

Is it a free course? Not sure if I missed that bit of information

No problem Irvin,  I am glad I could help. I will continue to share.

Kathy

Hi Pris,

It is free to take the course. If, however, you want to receive a certificate for taking  the course, then you pay a small fee.

Kathy

OK.. SOUNDS GOOD
