While the research is limited in determining whether ICT in the classroom has had the desired positive effects to improve  educational indicators, I am of the view that we cannot ignore the fact that it is a an effective means of engaging the learner. The use of ICT in the classroom if integrated well can contribute to the overall development of the learner.

I have found that using technology that students already use in their daily lives (e.g. Facebook) for communication between myself and between students is efficient and motivates me and students to keep in touch with all the little "bumps" in the class. Questions can be answered very quickly - no waiting for the next class or when I get around to my email. Students often answer classmates questions. In a generation where youth are always "connected" it makes sense to take advantage of the tools they use to connect them to learning.

It is so important to be exposed to cutting edge teaching and learning strategies. Knowledge is really power because with it you can be or do anything yo want to do and be.
A knowledgeable teacher can do so much in a teaching and learning environment with simple everyday pieces of technology such as the Smart phones.

I think that we need to make the research and tests to have the evidence and the documents to show with results that the level of educations is increasing using them (TICs). So people that are using them nowadays must make the polls and show us the results. Motivation is key to learn better as we see.
