PhD in Philosophy of Education from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Studied critical thinking and liberal education. After graduation in 1993 started the AIM Lab (Agricultural Instructional Media Lab) on that campus, an early effort to use the world-wide web for e-learning and agricultural extension. Ended up as an assistant professor at Illinois focusing on web-based training and digital libraries. Married an Argentine woman in 2001 and we moved to her hometown in 2005. Have taught online courses in critical thinking and ethics online since 2008. Our Cordoba E-Learning Group offers consulting and a Moodle-based platform for course developers.
