When I was teaching English in the coast region of Ecuador, I noticed a real problem with the pronunciation of the final /s/ and /z/. People there used to pronounce words omitting the final /s/. As an example: "voy a comprar do pollo" "vale cinco dollar" "me arden lo ojo" and so on. So, when coast region people start to learn English they move such problem to their English pronunciation. As a result of this, they mispronounce plurals and third person like this: two /table/, Miguel /speak/ English or five /apple/ and so. In order to help my coast region students to solve that problem I created the following video:
