For history teachers, Dipity is a tool which they can use in multiple ways in their instructional practice. They can create dipity timelines and use them as part of classroom presentations or they can assign groups of students to create timelines of specific topics.

Dipity can integrate multimedia elements such as video, audio, images, text, web links, social media, locations and timestamps.
