At the primary school level, parents tend to be more involved in the education of their children. Perhaps it is because of the stress of the Secondary Entrance Exam, or maybe the age of the child warrants more attention. At the secondary school level, the level of involvement drops and I think that this impacts on the success of the student. Do you agree with me? Do you think that parental involvement is lacking among the parents of secondary school students in your setting? Is this impeding the success of your students?
