Episode One: Comments and Reflections

I was thinking that we probably should not clutter the comment wall and try to structure discussions and comments. Whoever is ready can start a discussion on the episodes as we go along and the others can join. 

Episode one was interesting. I got working definitions of critical thinking, some reasons why critical thinking is important and the line of questioning which promotes critical thinking.

As a bridge and chess player and avid gamer I would like to think of myself as a critical thinker. I went on to do some reflection and realize that I should commit to writing down questions to ensure that I am indeed encouraging critical thinking. I know that discussions in the classroom can take some interesting twists and turns and it would be nice to guard against missing out on key questions / opportunities to guide conversations.
