The Learning Metrics Task Force, established by UNESCO's Institute for Statistics and the Center for Universal Education at the Brookings Institution, has just published a report on the competencies and knowledge that all children should master in order to succeed in life. The Task Force was organized as a response to the shift toward a much greater emphasis on learning in the global discussion of education.
