Dr. Robert (Bob) McLaughlin is administrator for the review and approval of educator preparation programs for the state of New Hampshire in the United States. He co-chairs the Association of Teacher Educators' (ATE) new presidential task force on "providing resources for professional growth in the digital age", chairs ATE's national committee on technology and the future of teacher education, and founded and co-chairs the nonprofit Digital Opportunity Consortium, whose mission is to dramatically improve equitable access at home in the United States for all low-income children and their family to essential learning technology resources -- connectivity, computing devices, digital educational content, tech support, and financing for even families with poor or no credit (www.digitalopportunityforall.org).
