Education and child, adolescent development specialist, Patricia Hartasanchez is currently the Life Skills Innovation Advisor for Latin America. She has 36 years of experience in training and evaluating and monitoring teaching and learning process on teachers, children and adolescents and quality education. Also 20 years as family therapist. She has provided leadership in World Vision to create awareness and consciousness on the relevance of life skills learning along the life cycle and integration with other sectors. During the last 5 years she has worked with Children in Ministry to create the foundations for Education Life Skills sector in the organization, designing, implementing and monitoring life skills models, evaluation tools for early childhood, school age and adolescents and education in emergencies.
She has represented World Vision unto INEE (Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies) Advisory Group and Working Group developing Teaching and Learning standards, strategies and resources. Prior to joining World Vision International she worked in senior leadership and operation positions during 5 years in World Vision Mexico, as the Women of Vision Director, first chapter in Latin America funding and developing education and life skills strategy.
During 20 year she managed her own company in the private sector with Apice Educational Creativity diagnostic, designing, implementing and monitoring educational strategies, building capacities on rural and suburban communities and private and public schools. Currently, she is contributing in the Early Childhood Development research implemented in Tijuana, Mexico along with World Vision Health and the University of Baja California Health and Sociology faculties’ researchers, also implementing the Education Transition Funds in Latin America and Caribbean region and looking for the new frontier for Life Skills.
