I am first a mother and then an educator. As a wife and mother of three, I value family. I have been an educator for the past 25 years at the St. George's Methodist School. I have taught at all grade levels, served as Head of Department and remain active in a number of extra and co-curricular activities. At present, I am the Literacy Co-ordinator of my school and also serve as vice-principal. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Education Leadership and Management from the University of the West Indies. I have continually availed myself for professional development and have completed a number of courses in different areas including Reading, Counselling, Information Technology, Digital Citizenship, Quality in Basic Education among many others.
