I am Janice Frederick. I teach at the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School in Castries St Lucia. I am a Teacher of English Language and Literature. I am a qualified teacher with a first degree in general Linguistics and a Masters degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics. I actually pursued my Masters long distance with the University of Leicester. I have been a teacher from October 1989. I began teaching at the elementary level and taught at this level for 6 years then moved on to the high school level.I I am an assistant examiner of English Language for the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate Examination (CSEC). I have participated in workshop seminars on Integrated Language Teaching Methods and Assessment and Evaluation respectively. I have two children nine and five years respectively.
