Over the past twenty+ years I have been involved in the design and implementation of multiple STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) educational outreach programs.
I have worked extensively to bridge connections between higher education's research community and our educational partners from K-14. My work has led to deep understanding and respect for the partner community we (Higher Education) seek to support.
It has also has provided me multiple opportunities to mentor university students interested in sharing their passion for science, engineering and innovation.
My continued goals are to utilize this expertise to design and implement innovative programs and partnerships that meet the rapidly changing technological needs of our region and nation. Programs that effectively engage individuals and communities currently underrepresented in these fields and to support the development of the next generation of STEM professionals.
