The XIV International Virtual Educa Meeting, Colombia 2013 took place in Medellin during the week of June 17-21 with the objective of exchanging experiences related to education, innovation and information and communication technologies (ICTs) in Latin America and the Caribbean. Over 10,000 students, teachers, authorities and international experts participated in the event, which included the participation of the President of the Republic of Colombia in the inaugural ceremony.
