OAS - VUB PHD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) through the OAS Partnerships Program for Education and Training (PAEC), are offering scholarships to qualified candidates of the Americas to pursue Ph.D research at the VUB in Brussels, Belgium.
MODALITY: Onsite in Brussels, Belgium
LANGUAGE: English
DEADLINES: Scholarship application deadline: April 1st , 2015
DURATION: 4 years
BENEFITS:
Program cost which includes:
- Application and tuition fee
- Supervisor bench fee
- General Health Insurance
- Coverage for Repatriation
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF AWARDEES:
- Immigration fees
- Research expenses and study visit
- Settling-in fees
- Living expenses
- Round trip airfare
- Visa charge
These above expenses shall be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the scholarship recipients.
Candidates may wish to contact the scholarships desk in their country, other scholarship programs, employer, academic institutions, and agencies regarding possible additional funding to cover the costs not provided by the scholarship.
April 1st 2015: Deadline to apply to the OAS/VUB Scholarship Program
May 4th 2015: Official Announcement of Selected Candidates
May 15th 2015: Deadline to accept or to decline the OAS/VUB Scholarship
September 30th 2015: Registration deadline at the University
October 1st 2015: Begin of research in Belgium
