In a recent presentation given at the Universidad Torcuato di Tella, in Buenos Aires, Alejandro Ganimian, former PREAL program associate and current doctoral student at Harvard University, outlined the methods that may be used to conduct a rigorous evaluation of education interventions. The presentation argues why it is necessary to ensure that a policy is evaluated rigorously, discusses how this may be done, and offers some special considerations for evaluations of education policies.
