The Power of Technology towards Inclusive Education

Most students learn about Women’s Rights, Latin culture, even now more than ever LGBT identities and issues. Yet very few learn about disability, its movement and identity; even when the disability community make up one billion people, the largest minority worldwide.

Technology plays a critical role towards solving this problem. It not only exposes disabled people into the world, it allows us to fully participate and engage with society. Throughout this presentation, I will explore the impact that communication technology has had towards my education and my identity as a person with a disability.
